The music of OSOMO creates spaces of pause, retreat and contemplation. Moving away from the fast-paced outside world towards the inside world. OSOMO counters our hectic zeitgeist with an invitation to a journey. Conceived as «transportive music», it forms a sonic environment in which listeners can enter, move and stay in their own thoughts, feelings and physical sensations. It is a journey that leads to different places for each person. The OSOMO live sets, the Horizontal Concerts offer a musical and physical space for being, for lying down, for dreaming, for sleeping – from letting go to the most concentrated, deepest listening. 

OSOMO is the solo project of musician Simon Baumann (drummer in the band of Stephan Eicher, collaborations with Colin Vallon, Mario Batkovic, Don Li and others).
